What are the Best Royal Souvenirs from London?
Over the past few of years, London has been home to some very important events that have made history, including the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, celebrating 60 years of the Queen’s reign and the Royal Weddings, all of which were most certainly days to remember. Not to mention the births of all the Royal babies! There have been some superb commemorative gifts designed to celebrate these special occasions, here are some of our favourite Royal souvenirs:
During the time of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012, the celebrations took place in schools, towns and cities throughout Britain and the Commonwealth, which included national public events and bank holidays and the inevitable street parties with Union Jack flags and bunting. As well as the celebratory party supplies and mementos to mark Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee festivities, we love these British designed commemorative collections featuring the official Queen’s Diamond Jubilee emblem; the Queen’s official Royal Coat of Arms and the Queen’s official Portrait.
When the wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine Middleton took place back in April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in the heart of London, no one could forget the famous Royal Wedding couple's kiss which enthralled the hearts of people around the world. An official photographic image of this special moment was captured on lovely, glossy heart shaped magnets that have adorned fridges worldwide, as well as other Royal wedding gifts, that make charming keepsakes which are to be cherished for years to come. They really are beautiful mementos of a very happy and unique Royal event.
There have been some striking souvenirs designed to commemorate the birth of the George Alexander Louis, the son of Prince William and Kate, and the latest addition to the Royal family. These royal baby gifts, with the baby’s name, date of birth and birthplace printed on a pastel blue background, are great keepsakes which can be kept for years to come.
